With more understanding and a little help, they can continue to participate in society. The interactive presentation gives you more information about what it is like to live with dementia. You will also receive tips on how to deal with dementia. The disease has major consequences, but it is not the end of life. There is still a lot of beautiful things to experience and a lot is still possible.

Doorzonwoning [Sunlit house]
On September 21, 2024, a street with 6 doorzon houses, Prinses Margrietstraat 2 to 12, was opened in the Dutch Open Air Museum. The street tells the story of living in the Netherlands from the 1960s to the present. Doorzonwoning: Windows at the front and the rear allow the sunlight to enter. With the spacious living room and three bedrooms, the house is very suitable for a family. They have been built throughout the Netherlands. In cities and villages, especially between 1955 and 1975. Everywhere residents change their uniform standard home into a unique home.

Prinses Margrietstraat 6
The Prinses Margrietstraat 6 is completely furnished in the style of 1975. The house can be visited by everyone. Inside this house you will find the interactive presentation Living with dementia.
